How to Use Tick n Tie
Tick n Tie helps you extract and verify data from documents (PDFs and images) using AI.
Two Modes Available:
Compare to Excel (Tick & Tie): Upload an Excel file to compare against extracted document data. Identifies matches, discrepancies, and missing records.
Extract Data Only (Tick Only): Manually specify fields to extract without comparison. Use when you just need to extract structured data from documents.
Workflow:
Define Fields: Upload Excel (for comparison) or specify field names to extract
Upload Documents: Add files (PDFs or images) to process
Generate Prompt: Copy the LLM prompt and download document images as ZIP
Run LLM: Upload images to Claude/Gemini with the prompt, get JSON back
Paste JSON: Paste the LLM's response (can add multiple chunks)
View Results: See extracted data (and comparisons if using Excel mode)
Export: Save annotated documents and results Excel to a folder
Comparison Types (Excel mode only):
Matched: Key found in both, all fields match
Discrepancy: Key found in both, but some fields differ
Missing File: Record in Excel but no matching document
Extra File: Document found but no matching Excel record
